Are workstation towers confidently interchanged between the USA and the UK?

Can a laptop tower be used in both the Uk and USA by simply varying the power cable? I know the end to get power supply is different but am wanting to know if the adapter end on the tower itself is alike. If anyone has a cooperation with information on this it would be accommodating also. Thank you.

Most desktops have a power supply next to a red switch next to the power plug. Simply switch the voltage over to 220 near screwdriver (its inset) and viola! If you cannot find a cord that will will fit both the wall and the computer's power supply, there are international travel power adapters you can buy for $20 that will mutate a USA style plug to any country of your choice.

A word about laptops. Newer laptops come near a power supply brick that will take 110-240V. It will automatically adjust to any voltage and the output will still stay like peas in a pod.
It depends to the power supply voltage and type. Not the case of your computer whether it is tower or desktop.
I believe that it is. most pcs come beside a power supply that will have plenty voltage for anywhere in the world, you'll newly need a untried powercord for the country you will be in. Best to check near the manufacturer of your workstation though
