No it doesn't , but they do own software in near that will ask you to go pro adjectives the time...it's not really spyware per say. Just bothersome.

I come to the same conclusion.I downloaded essential,wasn't going to pay for pro,and my systems started sending warning and building firewalls etc. However having loaded it I tried to picture and download but my firewall wouldn't let it surrounded by.The Lime wire backing line said lower your firewall protection but I was reluctant to do that as Some one else have said they were feebly infected.from using Limewire.I decided not to bother and although I still own it I don't use it.
