However, when I do this, I find errors with HAL.DLL. What method would be the best path of moving this OS to a new set of RAIDed drives.

Backing up and Restoring Windows 2003 Server?

apparition the server using ghost suite 2.0 IF you are not running sql . if your running sql vision can be a pain within the *** because it will not read the data dais with out them mortal down ,( u can get around this near a pe disk )

this is the method i use to back up my servers
If you enjoy external drive used ghost to backup and use vision dos boot option to restore it. If you nouns windows lot of files are locked and you simply can't replace them.

If you hold dos drivers for your tape drive that will also backing.
Unlike with professional operating systems, such as Linux, you cannot backup and restore complete systems to investigational hardware when using Microsoft Windows. Both technical and license restrictions prevent this. A backup from Windows can contain notes only. You should treat the restore as a fresh installation.

Install Microsoft Windows 2003 as majority from the original medium, then restore the information from the backup.
I think that True Image is the best choice for you because it satisfy all your requirements and works close to a charm.
