Best buy of ram+motherboard?

hello friends i would similar to to ask that, i wanna buy cheap motherboard(full upto date which can handle any helpful any make graphics card) and bump which costs less.. and can work next to my intel pentium 4 1.7gHz(hope that ain't too old for gaming) so that i can play games next to heavy graphics...can anyone suggest the right combination next to price for me? thanks surrounded by advance.

the problem you would own is the 1.7GHz cpu will not be able to hold on to up with newer video cards on the flea market. Get a better cpu to support the video card.

Something like a AMD x2 3600+, 1gb ddr2 800mhz hit (mimimum) 2gb recommended, and a X1950 Pro or better (according to what resolution your monitor can handle). it really doesnt reward to skimp on parts ... theyre not that much anyway ... all ur money is going to be spent on a wearing clothes videocard 300$+ ... so get some worthy fast run into about 2 gigs and a fully clad board ...
i agree with dze the diff between a cheap board and a pious one is likely to be smaller number than 20 bucks, and same with memory. cheap compnents result contained by trouble down the raod.

MSI is a good mb company i.e. resonable, for memory, i'd stick to kingston.
