Audio on PC stopped?

I lately reinstalled Windows XP, so my PC is like current....but, the audio isn't working, it says: Can not play posterior the audio stream: no audio hardware is available, or the hardware is not responding. Help pleeeeeeeeease. lol.

right click on your "my computer" icon on desktop later click "properties, then click "device manager". Go down the chronicle till you see your player or record'r, right click and then click "upgrade driver. Let window search and install the best driver, Should fix ya. Good luck. Mikie.
if no audio hardware is found on your system, you enjoy to purchase a sound blaster audion PCI card and mount it on your workstation.
Did you install also the driver for your maother board, usually it was beside the package when you buy the computer, try to look for it? Send also the type of your mother board, if you hold the manuals, distribute us the name of the mother board and it's model, we might facilitate you what type of sound driver you stipulation to install.

you have to download the audio driver for it. shift to your computer manufacturer's website and look for support or help and you should find it
