Audio Problem [Edit]?

I reformat my friend computer, after reformat to window xp,I can't hear any noise,i check contained by the device manager,i see Multimedia Audio Controller within unknown devices, Where can i find driver for this devices.I open his cpu,I see so lots Chipset, I see VIA,NEC,ICS,ESS,and many more. What driver for audio.

Audio Problem [Edit]?

A driver isn't something physical (hardware.) It's a small program that let's devices communicate next to the main computer. They would be downloaded from a driver website. Two ways to dig up drivers.

1. Visit the computer manufacturer's website and look for a help, or support, or controlled link. Most manufacturer's give free scans and links to upgrade drivers.

2. Click start > run > type surrounded by DEVMGMT.MSC > OK. A Device Manager screen will unambiguous with a great deal of device categories scheduled. They will have plus signs contained by front of each category. Click the plus sign and you will see adjectives the devices within that category that are on the apparatus. Double click the specific device name and another blind will open that have several tabs. Click the Driver tab, afterwards click the button to Update Driver. If a newer driver is found it will be installed. If there is no newer driver it will report to you that. In which case, progress back to the eyeshade with adjectives the tabs, click the Troubleshoot button, follow the prompts.

Hope this help.
