So i am currently dual booting vista and xp and be just curious if anyone know when asus is releasing sound drivers for their motherboards. I enjoy a p4s800.
Asus and vista?
The p4s800 series are discontinued socket 478 boards. Don't hold your breath for it. You should, however, look at the soundmax chip on the motherboard itself and get it's model number and look up drivers that course for it. Some other mb makers might own the download for it. Soundmax (AKA analog devices) does not have drivers on their page, a short time ago links to makers that are responsible for the drivers.

Edit: This intermingle: http://dlsvr01.asus.com/pub/asus/misc/au... seems to be merely for the 64-bit version of 2000 or XP.
This intermingle: http://dlsvr03.asus.com/pub/asus/misc/au... seems to be drivers for 32-bit and 64-bit version of vista but only for the chipset AD1986A reworked copy. Will NOT work with the AD1888 and AD1980 version (the ones the P4s800 boards use).
