Backing up files?

At lowest possible how much space does one need to rear legs up their files on the computer?

I want to put it in a flash drive conceivably. Any suggestions?

Backing up files?

Without compression you need like peas in a pod amount of space as the total size of all the files you want to support up. With compression, you need anywhere from 50%-80% of that space, depending on the type of compression and the files. Most family use a smaller second hard drive as a standard home backup.

I would recommend doing some pattern searches, it's much too big of a give somebody the third degree to answer here because there are hundreds of different answers.

It depends on the directory you want to have a back-up. Large database needs immense space and vice versa.
if u use any zip software after the data canbe comressed to 1\10 to the unproved space

u can use winzip, win rar, windows zipper, 7 fastener
