I enjoy pc doctor and registry mechanic. Is it worth getting a workstation booster as well? Are they worth have? Not bothered about paying for it and downloading it.
Has anyone tried this?
Please reply!
Anyone know anything roughly speaking computers?
Don't spend in dribs and drabs your money on garbage software. Registry Mechanic might be adjectives, but I wouldn't bother with PC Booster. If it doesn't rumple your computer but makes any improvements they will be nominal! Hardly worth the money or headache!
I used to be the same opening 8 years ago. Don't believe everything you hear or read about software. Try to mix your decision between reviews by editors and users. Usually you can smell a bad apple when the editor say its good, but adjectives the users think its a floppy fish.
Delete them, and forget you ever have 'em.
No, I'd say you don't stipulation them. I heard they just slow your system down and are not worth the price.
I wouldn't bother with any. If you truly want to play with your PC, travel to download.com, choose "utilities" and filter by "free". Then, go by the editor's and user's reviews. Also, set a restore point contained by XP; Start/ Programs/ Accessories/ System Tools/ System Restore. This does three things; it allows you to tinker with your PC and MAY in truth do you some good; You can uninstall anything that doesn't work, and near system restore, you are protected from any problems, (if need be, hold F8 while booting, choose to boot into Safe Mode, and run System Restore from there), and finally, you won't hold wasted your money on a bunch of marginally efficient software.
