As house puts it so other ;-) the mac USE to have an dominance. It's now a wanna-be workstation with the SAME parts. So it's IMPOSSIBLE to be better. Only the OS is different. A puppy similar to this: http://www.newegg.com/product/product.as...

Stomps most of the so-called apple stuff (really pc stuff now-just over priced). And btw, i use to produce music from my computer near midi and live recordings (using 24-tracks- unlimited if i wanted to use more).
Personally, I don't conjecture so. Mainly because there are smaller number programs that you could use for that for the Macs.
Some people reckon they are but there is far more music production software for a PC and I am sure that in this day and age, a PC would work just as very well. Dont give me that crap any nun! I would about bet my dolby card connected to my pioneer amp and subwoofer sytem would blow your Mac outta the marine! You cant tell me a Mac outputs any better digital nouns than a PC!
the hardware is slightly better for music making, but the software is less available and so far i know not as advanced.

but the difference is really minimal if u ask me
yes, mac's are better for those things. the system is more reliable and the guarantee is better, also, i think the software comes bundled. if you are thinking of getting a computer solely for those things, i would defenitley consider them.
