Best File System For Mac and Windows?

I am going to buy a Western Digital My Book 500GB Essential USB2.0 External Hard Drive. I am not sure what the record system is. At the moment i am using a PC though in a few months i will be using both a Mac and a PC thus what would be a compatible folder system which doesnt cause partition. I heard that Fat 32 is simply capable of 32gb though i am not sure.

no ... fat32 is simply capable of handling files up to 4gb size ... if u touch large video files its not just what the doctor ordered ... but if u want to switch between mac and pc u MUST use fat32 .. within is no 32gb limit u can format the unbroken 500gb drive in fat32 if ur bios is uptodate ..

Mac can format to Mac Extended report system, Unix File System (UFS) or DOS FAT32. Only the latter is seen by a Windows box.



Windows can format NTFS or DOS FAT32. Only the latter can be written to by a MAC OS X system. Your solely cross-platform choice for read-write is FAT32.

I enjoy an old ATI Radeon 7500 graphics card, yea i know its older. I don't want to buy a new card, but i do want to find the most out of it for gaming and such.

What drivers should i use, do i use the most recently updated ATI drivers or the Omega driver v3.8.252 which i currently enjoy installed.

Basically i still have trouble running an online winter sport and i want to make sure its not my drivers.

P.S. i know i own an old notebook, with 2.4GHz celeron processor and probably not ample ram, but i want to maximize my garphics card.

it really doesnt reward to skimp on parts ... theyre not that much anyway ... all ur money is going to be spent on a wearing clothes videocard 300$+ ... so get some worthy fast run into about 2 gigs and a fully clad board ...
i agree with dze the diff between a cheap board and a pious one is likely to be smaller number than 20 bucks, and same with memory. cheap compnents result contained by trouble down the raod.
